I self-published a book recently and decided to work with IngramSpark on the recommendation of a friend in publishing. I placed an order 5 weeks ago, and there is still no response regarding the shipment.

So, I decided I would order more, but using their rush delivery. That still took 2 weeks to acknowledge the order and ship, then another week to ship.

The tracking today shows the package was delivered, but when I went to check, it was not there! Both the shipping company and IngramSpark have no way to contact them!

Initial responses are automatically generated and suggest going to FAQ. It has taken months at times to get a real answer from customer service.

I never got an actual human response. Only the AI stating its being looked into.

Never any contact from Ingram!

If this werent the only way to get my books into schools and libraries I would have moved on by now! Pissed and stuck!!!

My complaint is really with Draft2Digital for never replying at all to my several emails. Ingram did call me twice.

I have to take my complaint back to Draft2Digital because that's where I purchased my books. Ingram prints them but does not have records of them.

My books won't be here in time for the book signing. I ordered them on January 6th to have before the signing on January 29th.

I was accepted by IngramSpark for distribution, something my publisher said she had only seen once in her career. I accepted their proposal to place 1500 books in Walmart and other stores.

I was told they would set up a local book signing event at no cost to me but still had not happened. I have not seen any sales or money since they contacted me on July 17th, 2026. I spent $9,000 on the books.

I was told that if they didn't sell within a year, they would buy them back at cost. I am disappointed that they won't call, text or email me about my questions.

I have talked to Marty, and he wanted to place my book, Orion's Park, in major retail stores. I paid $9k to get the 1,500 books sent.

The website doesn't show any sales, and nobody responds to calls or emails. Marty called and wanted 500 more books, but I declined due to no sales being posted. I have not received any payments. I was also told they would set up a book signing locally.

That has not happened. Frustrated!

My formatting was rejected. My book is 8.5 x 10.5 landscape.

I have spent hours trying to get a human being on the line I could correct in minutes. I have been unable to access my account, and they threaten to suspend my account!

There is obviously no way that accountant customers can contact a live customer service agent! I have spent a fruitless week trying! I don't intend to try anymore, but I will warn my friends.

Excel book writing setup an account which I didn't need for my book they published. I had already paid $1,060 for Global distribution then they wanted an additional $50 to complete the process.

Found out it was not even setup in my name on Ingram Spark which I didn't even need as I already have an Amazon account, which they knew as I had given all of my information. I just wan to through with them and secure everything I can.
